I was looking for ways to visualize human souls, thoughts, and minds more precisely.
So I found out how to show them. In “Self-talk” work I show how the girl talks with herself when I she is alone.

When I am in love, everything is purple. That’s a color of my love as far as I discovered... I am in love all the time… It is beautiful and total…

Two random souls stick and become so close to each other… I will never get used to that. It’s like an understanding that you came literally out of the body of your mother. Impossible to realize.

This work resulted from research on Saamian culture and an expedition to the Arctic region. Sami is quite a small group of people living mainly in Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Russia. The Saamian people are living in the tundra for a long time, enduring harsh conditions with long, difficult winters and limited resources. The artwork includes several Saamian ornament elements, with the "Circle of Life” as the main element.

I was inspired by northern people and their culture to support and care about each other – in such a tough climate this is the only way to stay alive. My work is about community and cooperation. I strongly believe that people are not strangers to each other. I wish no one stays indifferent but cares: about their nation, their people, and whoever needs help. If we are all together, we can change anything, not only winter to summer.

This work has been presented on the “Aurora” exhibition on a large media facade.

Physically, the world would crash if the Earth would spin in the opposite direction. So, after that, I imagine the new World would appear. In this world, everything would be different. There would be no rules and no problems. Everyone could do whatever they want. Even fishes would be able to fly.

What really hypnotizes me in nature is mold. It is so beautiful and, honestly, I am sure that each mold is a separate world. I want to believe the scene I recreated in this work does exist in some particular mold.

For this work, I did not consider any concept. It is just an abstraction, created very intuitively and improvised, leaving space for interpretation for every spectator.
